Children’s Activities

Sunday School Classes for Children, 9:45-10:40 AM

Three and Four Year Olds Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments using We Believe curriculum. Room 8.

Elementary Rotating Workshops The children move to several different workshops, one each week, during the course of each 4-6 week unit.  Each workshop looks at a different part of the Bible story or reinforces a part of the story.  This repetition helps the children learn the Bible story more fully and the different approaches in the workshop are fun in a new way each week.  Workshops may include cooking, computers, arts and crafts, storytelling, movies/movie clips, games, dramas, music, puppets, science, and others.  Adult helpers (shepherds) stay with each class group of children and rotate to each workshop with them, helping as needed. A schedule is posted in the Education bldg. lobby.

Middle School Class:  Connections  Room 15  This fun group meets each week to stay connected with each other and with the Bible and their faith. They study together, play together, do mission together, and sometimes worship and plan worship together.

High School Class,  Youth Hall This is small group fellowship time for senior highs to study the Bible, apply passages to life situations, and to worship together once/month.

Junior Choir (2nd - 5th grades) , Room 10, 5:00 pm Wednesdays, Sept. - May

Youth Chimes (6th grade - 12th grade), Room 10, 11:00 am Sundays, Sept - May

Youth Groups

4th and 5th grade youth group meets once/month at 5:00 pm Sundays for games and activities

Middle School Youth meets at 5:00 pm every Sunday in the youth hall

High School Youth meet at 7:00 pm every Sunday in the youth hall

All are encouraged to attend 5:59 worship on Sundays.
