MISSION COMMITTEE
The committee meets monthly to determine local mission activities in which to participate and fund,
and to oversee the work.
We welcome your interest and participation in these important efforts to help those
in need in our community.

Sign up for a 2 hour shift to work
in Fellowship Hall assisting those in need.
The Father’s Housewares
Volunteers needed to help us deliver
furniture to those in need, mainly on
Saturdays.
BEAM
Volunteers needed to cook meals for the
hungry and offer counseling assistance.

Join Presbyterians in assisted learning tutoring program at Atlantic Beach
Elementary School anytime from 9am to 2pm.
Christmas International House
Join in the city-wide effort to house foreign exchange students during the Christmas holiday.

OUR FATHER'S HOUSEWARES
(A Ministry of Community Presbyterian Church)
Our Mission Statement: To work with other churches, various social service agencies and the community to provide decent, serviceable furniture and household items for those in need.
Needed: Able Bodies with strong backs to assist in pick-up and
delivery
- Couches and chairs in good condition.Dressers, cabinets, chests-of-drawers, tables, shelves, and stands.
- Beds, (especially twin and full sized).
- Kitchen tables and chairs.
- Housewares, cookware.
- Bedding, towels, dishcloths, etc.
- Air Conditioning window units
- Tools.
- Tents and Camping equipment.
- Baby furniture, carriages, walkers, etc.
- Electric Sewing Machines
Not Needed:
- Old clothes, (To be taken to Goodwill and contributed in the name of BEAM or Mission House).
- Toys, (same as above).
- Books.
- Sporting goods or exercise equipment.
- Anything 'junky', or in need of repair.
